Privacy Policy

Short version: Power Right Button has no accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry, or file uploads. File actions run locally on your Mac. Apple processes and verifies the optional Pro purchase.
1. Who is responsible
This website and the software operate under the Power Right Button brand (“we”, “us”). Privacy questions can be sent to support_powerrightbutton@consultor.com.es.
2. Information processed by the app
The app does not collect or transmit personal information. To perform an action you request, its Finder extension may temporarily process:
- the paths, names, types, sizes, and media metadata of files or folders you select;
- the destination folder where you request a new file;
- file contents while calculating a checksum or transforming Base64 or JSON;
- clipboard text when you explicitly choose a URL encode or decode action.
This processing occurs locally. Hash input is read in chunks, text transformations have a size limit, and Power Right Button does not retain the processed content.
3. Preferences and Pro status stored on your Mac
The app stores which menu actions you enable and a local copy of whether Apple has verified Pro in a shared app container so the main app and Finder extension use the same access state. These values do not identify you and are not sent to us.
4. Network access, StoreKit, and sharing
File features do not upload files or contact our website. The optional Pro purchase uses Apple’s StoreKit service to load localized product information, make a purchase, restore it, and verify the current entitlement. Apple processes this under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your complete payment details or operate a purchase server.
Website and support links open your chosen browser or email app. Mail, Messages, and AirDrop actions hand selected items to the corresponding macOS sharing service only when you request them. Those system apps and services then operate under their own policies.
5. Website data
This static website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, account forms, or local storage. When you visit, the hosting and network providers may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare’s handling of that infrastructure data is governed by its own privacy policy and applicable law.
6. Support email
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer and diagnose your request. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for support, legal, fraud-prevention, and record-keeping purposes.
7. App Store purchases and downloads
Apple may process purchase, payment, Apple Account, transaction, and download information to distribute the app and provide Pro. We do not receive complete payment-card details. StoreKit supplies the app with signed transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock or revoke Pro locally. Consult Apple’s privacy policy for its specific practices.
8. Children
Power Right Button is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Because the app has no account or telemetry, we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.
9. Security and retention
Local app preferences remain until you reset them or remove the app’s container through macOS. No security measure is perfect, but minimizing collection substantially reduces risk.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information held in support or sales records, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority. Email us to make a request. Mandatory legal exceptions may apply.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the product, website, providers, or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
