Why does the Finder extension need to be enabled?
macOS requires explicit approval for extensions that add Finder menus. Power Right Button includes a button that opens the correct system interface.
Does it send my filenames or files anywhere?
No. The app has no network entitlement. File creation, path formatting, preferences, and hashing happen locally.
Does it create real Office or iWork documents?
No. Empty files with .docx, .pages, or similar extensions are corrupt, not documents. Power Right Button only creates formats it can produce correctly.
Is there a subscription?
No. Power Right Button is a one-time purchase. Your local storefront displays the applicable amount and currency. There is no in-app paywall or recurring fee.
